Her eyes tell a story that words cannot speak,
all these sleepless nights are making her weak.
The touch of her fingertips gentle yet cold,
they hint at a story that’s never been told.
Through the grave of her soul and her dark empty heart,
it is easy to tell that she’s falling apart.
Behind broken smiles she hides pain away,
but I wonder how long she can keep it this way.
I hear her mind scream through her slow lifeless breath,
each one gets more painful, each one calling death.
She is begging for help without speaking at all,
in a world that's so big with a voice that's so small.
In the end she surrenders her soul to the sky,
no one with a chance to say their goodbyes.
Another life lost and an angel that's gained,
I pray for the families and souls that are pained.
