Ode To My Kelpie Dog Called 'Nate'

My Kelpie dog is the best,
Who works all day without much rest.
He does not bark when working cattle,
With me riding beside him in the saddle.
He is red and tan with a silky black nose,
So much speed and agility he shows.
His ears are round, pricked and small,
With long strong legs to make him tall.
When the work's all done it's time for fun,
We go outside for a playful run.
So this is an ode to my Kelpie dog called 'Nate',
Who is forever, my best mate!
