As I first thought of Year Six, the sixth grade,
I had a feeling of fear as sharp as a blade.
But when I laid eyes on the teachers,
They were nice and kind to us year 6 seniors.
I thought the classes were pointless,
But lots that were the best.
P.E. made me go and run,
And creative writing was really fun.
In art I used lots of papers and paint,
And in other subjects we really needed to concentrate.
For maths we discovered answers to many questions,
Some with lots of interesting suggestions.
For history we did federation,
About Australia as one great, big nation.
Some easy things to learn and things that are confusing,
I will remember and miss everything when I’m graduating.
