I may be large and undiscovered,
But compared to my external I am minuscule.
My width and depth, most not uncovered,
You call unnecessarily harsh and cruel.
If only you knew what lay beyond,
I promise you would weep from dusk until dawn.
Here where you live, you really should be fond,
Of the safety provided to you, and the land you move upon.
The amount of life that I contain,
Is immensely large, and more than you will ever know.
If I told you the number, I’m sure it would hurt your brain.
To me, your lives are what you owe.
I have the ingredients to make life,
So mix them together and what you will get,
Is a magnificent range of living beauty and beasts in less strife,
Than most extraterrestrials I can bet!
