The white is endless,
Snow falls silently
Bringing solace to the injured heart.

A ray of light
Breaks the stillness,
Carrying joy and hope
Yet it hurts
The wounded soul
Left alone
In the cold quiet mountain.

The sun is blinding,
Ending the monotonous soliloquy
Of the lone figure
Buried within the raging storm.
