She is a garden
She blooms
Each vivid and vibrant colour brightening the days of those she holds dearest and those who are graced with her presence
Her smile is warm like the sun’s rays
Beautiful yet not always benefitting herself
For some flowers have thorns and beneath her glowing smile was pain
Guarded by her benevolent honey eyes was the hurt that only society harsh hand could deliver
Her voice shakes
but not enough for those to notice
the true vulnerability strangled by thorns of life
She brings hope to so many
yet hope refuses to pay its dues and protect her
So this is a bloom for her
for her heart, though hurting, has never shaken
