D E A T H A T B I R T H

The majestic night sky
With the man she trusted who would only lie
Although, each lie would show her why
A shining ray of light shes seen one too many times
Her smile was sour as if it was a bag of limes
Her heart beated to sound of the rhymes

Shooting of the wind
Trickling of the rain
Roaring of the lightning
The baby that was conceived

The stinging pain of each lie
You could tour the world but only see her sigh
The baby in the cottage who wouldn’t say hi

The innocence of the baby at birth
Who grew up only to know who was hurt
Whose death was sacrificed, that was the only thing that pitiful child learnt
