Dusk to dawn
Purple, pink and gold at sun set,
everybody lays down for a calm rest.
The sky turns from blue to black
on top of every mountain, hill and hay stack.
When the flowers close, night comes by
watching the stars shimmer in the sky.
Owls and possums come out in the black,
they fly and swing over that hay stack.
Silent is the night
full of little little lights.
The sky turns from black to blue,
my garden is covered with dew.
Flowers and birds awaken,
people have breakfast of eggs and bacon.
