For a second there I though we’d lost,
Regain again and struggle on.
Please hold tighter so I feel the pain.
Please keep speaking until I’ve gone.
To know you is hard and changing,
To not, is losing more than a face,
Blurred in the rush of the daily sprint,
You know me all too wrong.
The only tragedy here is the ceasing of your voice,
The song to my life, fading away,
Maybe I could stay, just tonight,
I’m hoping that you’ll change me.
Stars are set back for us to shine,
Raise your voice louder to be heard now,
The clock is ticking our lives away,
Our cold stone hearts are waking.
