Mother nature dreamt of a day of rebirth,
of the torn down paradise once named Earth.
Waves of litter crash against the coast,
onto disregarded graves of forgotten spirits and ghosts.
Turtles, orangutans, leopards, and toucans,
their species perished from the mercenary ways of humans.
Avaricious ways of humanity danced on Mother Nature's grave,
generations and generations of corrupt beings bred children whom are depraved.
Mother Nature reminisced about the early mornings of spring,
where she would tune in to robin and sparrow birds sing.
Days where the dew of lush greenery would rush through her veins,
and when shooting stars were not just planes.
She was overcome with nostalgia and sentimentality,
as her body was now a cemetery of morality and sustainability.
She wakes up from her vivid vision and looks around mortified,
and with little hope left, she sighed.
