They were the sun and the moon,
black and white,
yin and yang.
The times they spent together
were the times she was happy.
Like they say opposites attract,
but like they also say,
all good things come to an end.
Her heart broke at the thought of saying goodbye.
Her heart broke at the thought of losing her.
Her heart broke at the thought of forgetting her.
My heart broke when I lost my best friend.
