Gunshots, Explosions, Blood.
The Turks are shooting us down.
People are dropping like flies.
Will this be the end?
We try to fight back but the Turks are too powerful.
The shores that were once Gallipoli, were now a war zone.
The beach turning from a sandy yellow to a dark red.
People full of life, now taking up space on the ground.
It was clear, that we had lost, seconds into the battle.
And for the next 2 years as well.
