Love is a vicious fire, a fire that burnt out when I lost you.
I miss you from time to time, I miss the days I called you mine.
Clouds walk with me as I stare down an empty street.
Thinking about what I’ve done, never thinking about what I do.
Sometimes when I miss you, I sing our favourite songs.
Hoping one day, this wouldn’t feel so wrong.
What have I done, what have I done,
What am I doing...
I count the days 1,2,3,4 and maybe a hundred more.
But when the days are through and through, I’m finally getting over you.
Am I happy when you’re not around?
Well, now you can’t be found, and I’m happy you can’t be found.
The ink runs off this page with the hold you had on me.
For so long I have drowned.
For so long I have frowned.
But my love belongs to someone new, and finally I’m not thinking about you.
