The Magical Book

Excellence Award in the 'Write Along 2018' competition

Once there were three best friends: Paris who was kind, Willow who was so crazy about horses and ponies and Natalie who could speak Russian. One sunny warm day, the girls came to school very early and decided to go to the library. There they found one interesting book. When they opened the book, they saw a purple flash and then they found themselves in a unicorn world. When the girls looked at each other, they saw that they turned into unicorns! Willow said, "I like how I look,” waving her horn around. "Yeah, me too!" said Paris looking at her glittering tail. And Natalie shouted, "Look at my rainbow mane!" while flying in the sky. Then the girls started thinking how they can get back to school because they could not stay there forever. "If you want to know how to get out of this world, I can help you,” said a voice. The girls turned around to the voice and saw a blue and white big unicorn with a golden horn. "Hello! My name is Alexandria,” she said. "If you want to get home you have to say :
Magic star, magic star,
Let me fly very far,
To my parents, to my friends,
To my world what never ends!"
"Oh, thank you so so so much Alexandria!!!" said the three friends. "You are welcome,” said Alexandria while galloping in circles and then she disappeared in the sky.
One by one, the girls said the spell and then they came back to the school library looking like themselves again. They closed the book and brought it to the Librarian. "Can you please write on this book 'Do not open this book. If you will open this book it will suck you in and put you into a unicorn world'. That's what just happened to us!" said the girls. "Ok then,” said the Librarian and put the sign on the book. "Thank you,” said the girls. "You're welcome,” smiled the Librarian.
Finally, no one will open the book. Well, only if they wanted to turn into unicorns and not wanting to do school and get into trouble, which is silly.
