James the lizard song
once I caught a lizard and James was his name.
And I put him in a lolly bag and kept him all the day.
But I heard a scream then I ran to my nanny nanny let my lizard out.
Yes she let my lizard out.
Nanny let my lizard out and he ran away.
My nanny said she didn’t mean it and I never thought she did.
Because there are thousands of lizards in the backyard.
Then I found three lizards.
And I kept them until I died.
And then my son kept them.
