As the sun goes down to sleep,
The moon comes out to play.
As the world all becomes dark,
The worlds starts another day.
O’midnight moon.
O’midnight moon.
You start off our day
and end it just the same.
Until the next day.
you give us time to have a break,
You let the night animals play
and let stars come out to shine.
O’midnight moon.
O’midnight moon.
Keep me asleep.
And wake me up late.
