I see the way the clouds look like smudged paint along the canvas of the sky
I feel the wind on my face as it brushes through the soft clouds
I hear the wind whistling a silent sweet lullaby to me
I smell fresh water as the clouds cry final sorrows of goodnight to the sun
I see the glowing Aura of the horizon as the distant sun sets
I feel the warm haze in the air as the sweat drips off me
I hear a single lonely albatross singing a love song to a long lost mate
I smell feathers and seabird eggs as I hear a single cry lost in the wind
I see the reflection of the rusty huts on the murky rippled water
I feel the scratchiness of barnacles on my legs as they dangle over the edge
I hear the wind nudging the brown mysterious water towards land
I smell salty waves lapping the barnacle covered stilts of the metal monster
I see the entrances to the immense memories of many soldiers
I hear the crunching rust on my blistered bare feet
I smell deathly smells of fear, memories of its owners surrounding me
I feel hope for tomorrow as I stare at the beautiful late afternoon clouds
