The delicate sun dives into the ocean
As the shimmering waves come up into motion
When the sun goes down the sky turns black
On a sand hill lies a little timber shack
My head shot up, eyes gazing into the stars
The sky so clear I swear I could see mars
Staring into the eyes of the galaxy
Everything I see like a disney fantasy
Living on a tropical beach on the east coast
Nothing to be seen, not even a telegraph post
One or two people strolling down the sand
No one sees my little timber shack inland
My childhood dream was to live in this amazing town
I sit on the beach and watch the sky whenever I’m down
When I grow old and decide to give it all away
I will leave it for someone to love it the sameway
