Excellence Award in the 'Write Along 2018' competition

One dreadful day my mum did say,
¨Take your toys and go and play.¨
But I did say, ¨No how, No way,
I will not play on this day.¨
For in my room, I saw last night,
Something that gave me a big, big fright.
It moved along beneath my bed,
And settled right under my head.
I went into my room to see,
If anything was looking back at me.
I peered under my bed and wow,
A head popped out and said meow.
