Coats that gleam in falling snow
Dense ruffs so clean and white,
With glinting eyes, they're scanning, searching,
Assassins in the night.

Hear their voices clearly calling
A song of strength and grace,
A stunning chorus rise and falling
With power, they are laced.

So silently they take their quarry
Like shadows in twilight,
As one they strike and leap and worry
Until they win the fight.

And so, you hear them ever calling
Voices joined in song,
The mournful tune still rise and falling
Powerful and strong.
