The ground has started shaking; I’m frightened the house will start breaking
I’m under my bed, scared to death
I don’t know if I should stay or if I should leave the house
Wait! Where is my sister? I need to protect her
I run down the stairs into the kitchen, she’s not there
Into the bathroom I go but she’s still not there
I’m pretty sure she didn’t
But she might have run out of the house to protect herself
One last time I check in the living room to see if she’s there
Thank God, she’s under the couch very frightened and scared, I am too
I quickly grab her and run down to the basement
I feel so relieved that I have found her
I hide under the bean bags and make her hide under the couch
I ask her if she’s hungry, she says that she’s starving
Whatever now, what will happen, we wait
