I see no more of my father
For he’s serving like he should
Every day I wonder
Whether he’s gone for good

I fall to my knees
Tears rolling down my face
Praying to god
That he returns to this place

As the night draws close
I hear a knock
Mum answers the door
To a huge shock

Dads staring at her
With his big loving eyes
I wrap my arms around him
And he says “surprise”
