Kerala's Flood

Kerala is a good place to live,
Trust me I wont fib!
But when the heavy rain came down,
The healthy grass went dirty brown.
The monsoon rain brought lots of floods
Forming squishy mushy mud
This heavy terrain went on for weeks,
Over flooding lots of creeks.
This miserable situation made tears in my eyes
Seeing my own people die
Living miles away from my land,
I can only watch and stand.
Leaving all their religions behind
Sticking together like one mankind
Helping each other in this nasty flood,
Rising up with thicker blood.
