Broken in places that never see light; Skin that endures silent pain
The shadows of monsters creep into my room; A breath of fresh air numbs the ache
The eternal abyss spins a dark black blue; Speckled stars light up my heart
Heavy clouds soothe my corrupted mind; Bitter tastes swim through my blood
I fly when I sleep and fall when I wake; A victim to your insanity
The crow, he sings of forgotten days; I laugh at his humanity
The Haze puts to sleep, my decaying thoughts; Still they dance to the sound of the end
The happy children march to their drum; As my demons come out to pretend
Rolling and rolling, eyes just like pools; Feeding my hungry mind
Caught in the act, a snake at best; How rare it is to be kind
A thousand secrets I once did keep; To the edge they jump with me
The voices have stopped, and finally I feel; At peace with my melancholy
