The Sisters Of The Sea

Raging and heaving, surging and fierce,
The sea was in a state of turmoil.
Possessed with a demon-like soul,
Dark, churning waters crashed violently.
On this day, the ocean was tormented,
Unrestrained and tempestuous.
Lamenting all her sorrows of the past,
Her anger was merciless.
Her sister, the serene waters in the bay,
Gently swished and rippled.
As serene as a sleeping child,
She was the picture of harmony.
Eventually, she quietened her sister,
Restrained her from her fearful tantrums.
Soothing, lulling, the sisters embraced,
All is peaceful again.
