The old American man rigorously carried the jewel-embedded eggs ,
Trying hard not to stumble over his ancient legs ;
People laughed at him like hyenas ,
He had bought the almost priceless eggs from Argentina ;
A vicious dog startled him from the dark ,
The dog gobbled the eggs up and choked on them as if they were pieces of bark ;
Blue liquid oozed from it’s mouth ,
The poor man would have to buy another dozen from down south ;
The old American man thought he had lost all his jewel-embedded eggs ,
But the poor vision impaired man didn’t see the last surviving egg.
