What is the thing that reaps the soul
When mind and body take its toll?
Heretofore one has lost their way
In all they trust or do or say
From that point forward what decides
The way the ocean shifts it's tides?
Be it Space?
Time?
A paradigm?
Though surely not a choice of mine
And what beholds the heathen's fate
Who wishes most to deviate
Against the natural course of life
To end the sorrow; end the strife
Alas is one left to wonder
Inquisition left asunder
