Dragon

You feel coldness as you look into the dragon’s eyes,
You can sense sadness as you stare,
You know there is more to this story than anyone could ever dream there could be,
But you know it is true,
Because you met the dragon.
You close your eyes to try and listen to that sound that nobody can hear,
You try to feel what nobody can feel,
You know there is a message that needs to be said,
What is hidden will not stop calling for you,
Because you listened to the dragon.
The sounds you hear swirls, twists and always find you,
You try to escape but you can not block the truth,
The clues just drift you further from the answer,
The harder you try to hold on to that happy feeling just loosens your grip,
And then you know,
You lost the dragon.
