She is trapped.
Trapped in stone buildings.
When she gets her chance to run, she will seize it. Before it disappears like smoke.
She sits, in the sand before the sun sets.
The waves crash on the shore and float back out with her thoughts.
She is alive and free.
She is calm, her body like stone, unmoving.
She makes the most of her time.
Before she is trapped yet again.
She stares longingly out the window.
The clouds mimicking her dreams.
She is sitting there.
A tree, she is a tree, only moving with the wind.
Her home is not in stone buildings and houses, but in nature.
The waves that caress the shore, the sound of the distant stream, that is her home.
And give her the chance she’ll run back.
