The first time I entered a competition at the skate park it was so nerve racking.
It was scary because I thought I might not make the first tail whip.
I was concentrating really hard and made it. My heart was pounding and my legs were trembling as l waited my turn to do a 360 bar spin.
At last it was my turn, l had to pedal really fast as l needed to get lots of air to be able to spin all the way around and land it.
“Yeah, l did it.”
I was so excited, the crowd was cheering and clapping, chanting my name.
The trophy up for the best trick was looking like mine. All l had to do now was to land the perfect back flip.
Back in line waiting my turn l was starting to sweat, it was my turn.
I peddled so fast I did a triple back flip, the crowd exploded. They weren’t expecting me to do that.
I won a trophy! l will put it beside all the others.
