Give Them Time

Who is the future?
The ones that will take us far,
The ones that will make the world better,
But they don’t care,
They lounge about on their couches,
Not a care at all,
If they only listened,
They could take this world,
Make it better for us all,
It is children,
The youngest of us all,
If only we gave them a chance,
A turn to shine,
They will make the world better,
They will learn,
Just give them time.
