For man to breathe, a melodious soft note,
For human kind to despise each other,
To stand, while Earth rocks like an adrift boat,
We waver, reeds, clinging to another.
The word, on the sliver of lying lips.
Do you know it? The breath of life herself.
Faith. Faith; In the ending of the eclipse.
In the blaze of light, a god in itself.
Echoing inside ancient, aching souls.
Drifting endlessly, a whisper on wind.
Lies humanities faith, incomplete goals.
To let that glimmer of hope free, unhinged.
Our gods, daemons, angels, pretentious myths;
Our faith shan’t diffuse universal gifts.
