I've seen a millennia of romance,
Heard thousands of pleas.
I've blessed hundreds of people,
Forced them down to their knees.
I've caused years of animosity,
It delivers me no regret.
In some, I've cast despair,
I do not let them forget.
There are times suspicion arises,
I do not care; I let them pass by.
For I hold tremendous power,
Why on me do you rely?
As we near to the last line,
There's a message admist all the chaos.
Do not trust love and all my deceptions,
And yes, I am Eros.
