A quiet killer quickly struck
The heart, the mind, the soul of an innocent out of luck
With a poisoned arrow, a forbidden love
A spider swings his tangled web of love above
Dew drops glisten on the newly webbed like jewels
It’s beauty distracting not only fools
But, the arrival of the sun turns riches to sand
However, he does not take her hand
Her security and hope has disappeared
Along with him and in sets the fear
Now the victim alone and confused
She cannot help but feel her trust has been abused
The web now crumbles down
A mosaic of broken pieces of her heart lay on the ground
Once solid as steel, now, shattered like glass
