Memories take but one moment to make
One moment of joy or one moment of pain.
In the end they are reminders of what we did undertake
Extravagant quests that we can now celebrate.
But memories need moments and moments, people
Our friends and family grant us these wishes.
They allow us to finish the predetermined sequel
While we joke and dwell on past reminisces.
Though our paths may be doomed to soon separate
Our memories will always walk hand-in-hand.
Special times that people were willing to donate
To release a life from where loneliness tended to resonate.
