My Trusty Lair

I am a guinea pig
I often do a jig
But only when I’m scared
Though no one really cared
I hardly even dare
To leave my trusty lair
But I did, and I ran!
To the pond, I can!
I twisted and I turned
My tummy tossed and churned
I had to go back
The duck went quack
As I returned to my trusty lair.
