The Song Of Life

The song is rhythmic in every way,
It is drawing me in, telling me to stay,
I can feel the music seeping into my soul
For this enlightening experience, what is the toll?
Peace is not something one should behold,
Although perhaps you can find it when you’re happy and old,
And if you don’t you could become vain and small,
Some dreams don’t come true at all,
But music can calm you like crashing waves,
It can help you out of those lonely caves,
It can help you become something true,
Something that can only be described as you,
Play music like the coming and going of the tide,
Be proud, don’t think you need to hide,
Everyone has a different song,
Just because it’s different doesn’t mean you don’t belong.
