A new year is around the corner,
I have become a new learner,
From highs to lows,
I have survived my woes.
My life has changed,
Changed for the best,
I no longer despise what will come,
It's time to welcome a new quest.
2018 comes to a close,
My soul grows,
2019 may bring me life.
