Why oh why
Father
Can't I do this?
My independence would grow larger
I'm sure you know
What I'm talking about
Don't you want to see me
Flourish and sprout
Get up at six
Leave at seven thirty
The best part is
I would be clean not dirty
I promise you
There will be no fuss
Why oh why
Can't I catch the bus?
