The Lost Egg

An egg lay alone on a sandy beach in Queensland with nothing but trees for shade.
The beach was completely deserted except for a little boat in the middle of the ocean.
The sun was slowly rising over the horizon as the egg started to hatch. Just as it had almost hatched, a girl started to shout, "Mum! There's an egg on the ground! Come Here!"
The girl ran over and leaned over the egg. Out jumped a beautiful rainbow lorikeet!
It leapt onto the girl's hands and snuggled into her.
She named the bird Lolly and the girl took her home as a pet where they lived happily ever after.
