If and when I raise children, I will never let them down,
If and when I raise children, I will never let them get lost in town.
If and when I raise children, I will never compare them to others,
If and when I raise children, I will never compare myself to other mothers.
If and when I raise children, I will never hurt them inside or out,
If and when I raise children, I will never let them eat too much candy out and about.
If and when I raise children, I will never let them go too long without having a bath,
If and when I raise children, I will never lead them down the wrong path.
If and when I raise children, I will never let them think I don’t care,
If and when I raise children, I will never let them get eaten by a bear!
