My necklace is so special, it is made out of gold,
But lately I have noticed it is getting pretty old.
I keep it as a treasure in a tiny little box,
Just a little secret I kinda think it rocks!
On It is a little rust,
It almost fell down a drain once I only saved it just.
I have a memory of someone giving it to me I just can't remember who,
My mother always told me don’t worry my sweet Lulu.
The necklace is all l have apart from one mattress and a street,
I have no home to go to and the necklace is my only treat.
It’s very hard to get to sleep knowing someone could snag my favourite thing,
It makes me a bit nervous and just gives me a little ding.
But this morning when I woke it wasn’t there,
I was heartbroken - life really is not fair!
My mother always told me l should sell it before it’s too late,
She told me I should go ahead and that there is not endless dates.
