One drop fell onto my face,
Two drops ran down my cheek,
Three drops fell from the shower head,
Four drops laid still in the bathtub,
Five drops dripped from the ceiling,
Six drops were stuck in my bottle,
Seven drops fell from the sky outside,
Eight drops fell into my mother’s cup,
Nine drops cleaned an ant,
Ten drops stayed in the clouds,
Eleven drops lived in a gutter,
Twelve drops watered our grass,
Thirteen drops come out of the neighbour's hose,
Fourteen drops went down the plug,
Tens of thousands of drops came back,
One smile crept onto my face, and stayed.
