A Great Man

A great man knows there is a time for all,
A time to rise, a time to fall,
A time for sadness and for joy,
A great man stands and embraces it all,

A great man is a man with strength of heart,
And his heart reaches out for all,
A great man can protect them, can give them his strength,
Help them hold their heads high through the storm,

A great man is matched by greater dreams,
And a great man can accept his defeat,
He is never pinned to his problems for long,
In no more than three days he's back on his feet,

A great man is constantly strong and brave,
Bitter and sweet go together, he sees,
He is never defeated, not by his grief,
A great man is a thousand times greater than me.
