Gunshots echoing around the field,
Screams of laughter as men fall.
Trenches dug deep,
Where the soldiers sleep.
Dirt flying as men shoot,
Trying to run as opponents chase.
Tanks rumbling,
Around soldiers stumbling.
Groaning and moaning in the hospital wing,
People recovering and mending wounds.
A grim space,
A nasty place.
Planes flying low overhead,
Aiming bombs at towns.
Towns that were once calm,
Towns that have come to harm.
