The exploding night surrounds me
sounds of death and despair
a sadness fills within me
as a cold chill fills the air

All civilization is burning
buildings all collapsed
as the one well town is yearning
for life that hasn't lapsed

A sound, in the distance
as another missile flies
hiding for cover
we wait in nervous silence
as one crash follows another
and the entire army cries.
