Oh, What You Meant To Me...

When I started, I was free.
Full of HOPE, as one can be.
Had some trials, they weren't meant for me.
Still, I was happy.
Weeks had past, finally, settled my heart.
Came into my life, like a flying dart. The choices I made weren't very smart.
Now, for the 100th time, I fall apart.
I had HOPE, felt we were supposed to be.
You would have been welcomed to the family.
What a shame, you couldn't see....
Oh, what you meant to me.
