As I journey through my life,
My destiny seems prearranged,
And even though I wish to bloom,
I know lives seldom change.
My songs are whispered on the wind,
Carried to the beaches west,
And something lingers in heart,
Something I cannot forget.
A place where clouds never cry,
But the seagulls always sing.
Sand and sea eternally kiss,
They rule together, queen and king.
I feel I’m falling, take me there,
Just let me breathe the salty air.
My soul is yearning to be free,
Please take me to the sea.
