Oh, I Wish I Could Sleep

Oh, I wish I could sleep,
I just can’t once the sky is dark and deep,
It always happens as the moon glows,
And as the breeze starts with it’s rough blows,
Then it’s scary and creep.

It has always been that way,
I wish I could escape away,
As soon as the dark falls on us,
They just have to start the BARK!,
Oh how much I wish of a peaceful lay.

Oh, I wish I could sleep,
It starts like a non stop beep,
They are as loud as a whale,
They bang when they hit their tale,
In the end they were ours to keep.
