Jinkies! Where're My Glasses

“Jinkies where are my glasses,” I said, surprised.
Not a second ago they were right beside my thin thighs.
I looked around in despair,
And felt me eyes squeeze into a slight glare.
“You cannot see without your glasses”
my mother would say.
Now my vision had gone blurry,
And words have run away.
I looked in daphne’s mirror near an antique vase
My eyes wrinkled like an old woman’s face.
I gasped and giggled as I turned red.
I hadn’t thought of it before when I noticed
My glasses sitting on my head.
